It is hard to fathom the scale of a 9.0 earthquake but what happened between March 9th and 14th was more than just 'a big one'. It was a swarm of them.

This video gives fresh perspective on what is going on. In the last twelve months there have been 7 big quakes along the ring of fire; New Zealand (x2), Indonesia, Chile (x2) and Japan (x2). Along this collection of tectonic plates their are 2 main areas yet untouched - Vancouver and San Francisco. We are all connected.
