We're pleased to announce that our August Chapter Micro Grant has been awarded to our Sioux Falls chapter. The grant funding will be applied toward the construction of a prototype garden shelter in Falls Park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This garden shelter project will be the first of seven other community garden shelters to be built around the city. Each shelter will highlight a different sustainable material including gabion construction, rammed earth, straw bale, compressed earth block and cordwood. Congratulations to the Sioux Falls chapter!
