The first football for hope center designed by ARG Design with support from the Architecture for Humanity team in Cape Town for Grassroot Soccer. The center is part of the Football for Hope movement, a partnership between FIFA and streetfootballworld and one of many centers opening as legacy projects for the 2010 World Cup.

The center is an anchor site of an urban upgrading program for the Khayelitsha development zone. It features a solar water heater and solar powered lighting. Already more than 100 youth have been tested for HIV/AIDS at the center.

A huge kilo to streetfootballworld, Grassroot soccer, ARG Design, our contractor Drucon, the AFH team and all those who helped make today's opening possible.
