The Workshop on Coastal Communities, Tools for Resilient Reconstruction held by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) on March 31, was the second of three gatherings dedicated to sharing experiences in post-Sandy recovery efforts across the affected region to build back better.

Nazanin Mehregan has been an Urban Designer at Architecture for Humanity’s Haiti Rebuilding Center (RBC) for the past 17 months. On Friday, May 9, she spent her last day in Haiti, despite her colleagues’ tearful begging and occasional insults (we’re sad, okay?).
