A special edition letterpress print was released this week in commemoration of the communities in Moore, Oklahoma, devastated by tornadoes on May 20.

The prints were designed in Oklahoma City to raise money for Architecture for Humanity's efforts to Rebuild Moore. 100% of the proceeds go to Architecture for Humanity's tornado recovery efforts.

The application period of the MakiBiz "Build Back Better Tohoku" Request for Proposal has ended on 7 June 2013.


We have received many applications. Currently we are reviewing all applications. We will select as many eligible businesses as possible, and announce grant recipients in a few weeks.


Last week's Design Open Mic on June 12 was a packed a event, with presentations from Eric Cesal, Cameron Sinclair, and Rosannah Sandoval.

Two new projects just broke ground in Africa. After several months (or even more than a year for Edendale!) of development, the projects are finally ready to get built in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Edendale, South Africa. The local teams are on site, excavators are moving, and sites being cleared.
