"Events like these are why I get out of bed in the morning.”
– Amy King, Director, USGBC Leadership Institute
We're gearing up for the 3rd annual Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! and we hope you can join us. The preeminent practitioners' forum of innovative panel discussions and workshops will take place on November 12-13, 2012 in San Francisco. This year's event promises to provide the best programming yet and will qualify AIA members for eight learning unit hours.
The two-day event brings together designers, architects, academics, philanthropists, and real estate, business and finance professionals to address the challenges and lessons learned in humanitarian design. Panel topics address cutting-edge topics relevant to the field and workshops allow participants to gain hands-on knowledge from expert panelists.
A Design Open Mic allows emerging and established designers and architects to present their humanitarian projects and design ideas in an engaging seven-minute Pecha Kucha-style format. (Psst...You can sign up below.)
This year's Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! will inform and delight, attracting the best and the brightest in humanitarian design and community development.
