MODERN SHOWCASE HOUSE
Lisa Vail and her husband are restoring a 1955 Robert Green house and
hosting a Designer Showcase Saturday evening soiree with wine pairings
hosted by negotiant Wynn Pennington. Sounds like the perfect
combination of good taste and a good cause. xplore the art,
architecture and decor at your leisure both days from 12-5pm, or mix
and mingle with fellow modernists at the Saturday evening soiree,
8-11pm. Donations and raffle proceeds will support Arch

ELIZABETH RUNS THE NEW YORK MARATHON
Elizabeth Emerson is really going the distance for us, she is accepting

For the thrid year running proceeds from the Interior Design Magazine
Hall Of Fame Awards will go towards our projects. Thanks to everyone at
the magazine for continuing to support us. ps. there is a special
surprise for attendees!

Oct. 27th – San Francisco, CA
DWELL MAGAZINE SILENT AUCTION @ THE W
Dwell will host a cocktail party and silent auction from 6.30pm to
9.30pm at the W San Francisco benefiting Architecture for Humanity. The
auction will include 10-15 items showcasing a variety of home design
pieces, including furniture, electronics, arts, and accessories for the
modern consumer. RSVP

Sept. 9th – Penn State University
Graduate Students at Penn State raised funds during their happy hour friday session at the college bar.

Sept. 29th – Atlanta, GA
Ed Akins hosted a lecture and social fundraiser.

Sept. 30th – Oct. 8th – Seattle, WA
The Henry Art Gallery at the University of Washington donated proceeds
from weeks admission fees to our Katrina projects.

Oct. 2nd – Brooklyn, NY
The Spring Gallery hosted Art For The Heart Of New Orleans, a silent art auction and raised over $7500 for Hurricane Katrina reconstruction

Oct. 2nd – Tokyo Japan
Paul Buckingham and his friends helped set up a DJ set in Tokyo for us. How cool is that!

Fat Tuesday In The Bay Area
Oct. 11th – San Jose, CA
Hanna Pham hosted a Carnival night at 19 Market Modern Vietnamese
Bistro & Bar in San Jose with 50% of the proceeds to our effort.s

Oct. 13th –Tempe, AZ
Erika Dean organized a night at the clubhouse in Tempe by staging a Concert to Benefit the Big Easy

Oct. 14th –New York, NY
Marina Cambareri secured a great band to play a fundraiser event for us.
