Over last years Architecture for Humanity has gotten to know and respect so many of the people and families worked with in the rebuilding effort. We slept on floors, in car parks, in cars (as heard on Car Talk), in tents and sofas to help with housing recovery, community design studios and construction workshops, and community rebuilding. All in all thousands of families lives were touched by Architecture for Humanity volunteers, design fellows and architects.
