The Alternative Masonry Unit (AMU) lab is a project focused on providing design, development, distribution channels and support services for widespread adaption of low cost, high performance, and environmentally sustainable building materials for construction. We have set up a lab armed with equipment to test block samples that use waste stream materials in the mix. We are in the process of setting up a beta project in the US but are still looking for an international project that's interested in using natural construction with waste stream materials.
