Architecture For Humanity spent the week attending the Sports For Social Change Network Brazil conference in Sao Paulo. While in Brazil, Cameron Sinclair and Michael Jones from Architecture For Humanity joined Mel Young from Homeless World Cup and the team from Nike to meet with potential Community Partners and Architects for the GameChangers 2010 Homeless World Cup Legacy project.
At Instituto Bola Pra Frente in Rio de Janiero, the team was welcomed by its' co-founder Jorginho and a performance on instruments made from recycled objects from the community.
Later on we had a site visit to the Associação Solidários Amigos de Betânia who work with homeless and at-risk men from the favela most known from the the film 'City of God'.
