Not all humanitarian architecture focuses on housing, education or health care. There is a small but vital aspect of the work which involves political (h)activism. In Design Like you Give A Damn Vol. 1 we covered groups like Heavy Trash and their work in Los Angeles. Here is a great example of a gang of designers, Jason Eppink and Posterchild, who took on a 20 year leak in Astoria, Queens.
