Collège Mixte Le Bon Berger, Montrouis, experienced a convergence of revelry and hope over the weekend with a dedication ceremony before the Christmas break. All the students and teachers are excited to return to a brand new school building in the New Year. With the completion of the first phase of Collège Mixte Le Bon Berger, 800 kids will be back in school as well as providing construction training to Haitians creating skilled jobs.
A big thank you to the students and teachers of Collège Mixte Le Bon Berger for their support through design and construction, donors of the Haiti School Initiative including Students Rebuild, the Stiller Foundation and others. And we are very proud of all the architects and engineers who worked on this project - a shout out to Gerry Reilly and Jacques Nixon at Architecture for Humanity's Haiti Rebuilding Center and the contractors at Design Action.
