
As the first anniversary of Japan's earthquake and tsunami approaches, Students Rebuild honors Tohoku and the progress and partnerships forged in rebuilding. We also celebrate the results of a creative collaboration that united us across 38 countries and all 50 states.
After a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck the coast of Japan, students worldwide were issued a simple challenge by DoSomething.org and Students Rebuild: make and mail-in a paper crane, along with a wish of hope and healing.
The project was called Paper Cranes for Japan (#PC4J). We had no idea the scale of the response it would elicit - it amazes us still every day. Check the story out:
