With less than a month until the submission deadline (ahem, February 1st), the Guerrilla Green challenge is making headway with spectacular proposals from across the United States - the count is at 40 and growing. We really can't think of a better way to kick off a new year than with brilliant teens working for environmental change within their schools.

With that said, we'd like to spotlight Youth Rock the Rebuild, a group of student musicians who perform to raise money for the betterment of humanity. These teen rockstars came together in 2010, under the direction of Students Rebuild, to help raise money for school construction in Haiti, post earthquake. And now they're back, this time raising money to help support Architecture for Humanity's Guerrilla Green challenge. It's teens helping teens.

Thanks to Students Rebuild and Youth Rock The Rebuild we are going to be able to give up to $30,000 in cash prizes to students with environmentally progressive ideas to improve their schools.
