ILE A VACHE , Cayes, Haiti -South
We are happy to announce the completion of the Community Action Plan for the commune of Ile a Vache.
The Ile a Vache Community Action plan is complete. Architecture for Humanity has signed Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with various key players operating on the island, along with the Ministry of Tourism, for a strategic distribution of the manual. AFH is now a member of the technical committee leading the development of Ile a Vache. We are very proud of our work. The manual is the only one in existence now, giving the community a voice in the development plan of their neighborhoods. It is an invaluable tool for all actors involved in the development of the Commune. We would like to thank our funder, The Kellogg Foundation for its continuous support in the realization of this project.
