It takes a network to build healthy spaces where they are most needed.
This Spring we're showcasing the incredible portfolio of work designed and built by our international Chapter Network. Over fifty groups of designers and architects dedicate their time and talents after work to building places for neighbors in underserved areas.
Each week we will be featuring a different chapter, their work and the people making it happen. We invite you to support their efforts and the resources that make humanitarian design strategies accessible to more people and places globally.
"I Love Architecture" is an annual campaign celebrating the places that enrich lives and livelihoods; and supporting the practice of engaged, resilient and beautiful humanitarian design and construction in underserved neighborhoods around the world.
Solutions are best that commute least. Architecture for Humanity chapters bring our mission to in their cities and towns facing local, nuanced challenges in the built environment.
Through "I Love Architecture," awareness and support are raised at the chapter level. Half of funds raised go directly to spending at the chapter's discretion; and half goes to support chapter-wide resources and capacity building. "I Love Architecture" is growing the network through which humanitarian design and built solutions can reach more communities around the world.
