We are very lucky at Headquarters to have an amazing team of volunteers. Today we would like to especially thank our model making team who has been working for the last 6 months on building physical models for our Football for Hope program.

The "model making" team. The girls have been really dedicated and worked really hard to get the models done. 38 models out of 60 are completed or in progress. Most of the work is done by hand. Some models have been laser cut first but all the details are hand made to give them a crafty look.
The quality and details of the models are outstanding. These guys do have magic hands!

We would also like to make an enormous shout out to Techshop San Francisco. Thanks to their generous donation of two 6 month memberships, these models were made possible, in part, by their lazer cutters.

One copy of each model will make it to each Football for Hope center host as a gift from Architecture for Humanity to the local community. Another will stay in the office and left on display.

A model workshop has been installed in the office, and the table has been really busy lately.

We had a little gathering two weeks ago to unveil the models to the entire staff and say goodbye to some of our amazing volunteers.

Expect more updates as the models are delivered–as happened in Cameroon earlier this year.
