Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! 2014

Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! 2014 at Dwell on Design NY

We're proud to announce that Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! (DLYGAD: LIVE!) will be taking place at Dwell on Design NY this year!

Making its return to New York, the 5th annual event will bring together innovators, designers and experts to explore issues surrounding designing for a more resilient world.

Design Like You Give a Damn: LIVE! will highlight how design can and does make a lasting impact on society - improving the health, environment, economy and overall well-being of communities now and into the future.  Inspiring presentations and engaging discussions will be held during the conference, further pushing humanitarian design into the mainstream.

A key feature of this event is the annual Design Open Mic, which will take place on Saturday, October 11.  Design Open Mic features emerging and established designers and architects presenting their humanitarian projects and designs in a rapid-pace, back-to-back presentation format, powered by PechaKucha.  You too, can present your project on this high energy, engaging platform.
