Design Fellow Axel Stelter has sent us a video update from the field. Check out the latest progress on the Lesotho Football for Hope Centre in Maseru, Lesotho.
Axel writes, "It is the end of February and construction has come a long way. After some delay, the laminated roof trusses arrived as well as the door and window frames. Since the construction team already finished the exterior brickwork, the trusses and frames can be installed within the next few days. The interior plastering is complete, the floor filling is compacted and the casting of the slab is only awaiting the engineer's approval of the fill.
"As for the exterior, the contractor started to prepare the sub-base for the astro-turf pitch and also started to prepare the footings for the external pergola structure. We were fortunate with the weather in the past few days, which minimized the delays."
